Dear Colleagues,
It is a pleasure for us to invite you to participate in the III International Ágora on Education, Leadership, and Employment (www.agora-portugal.pt), which will take place at Coimbra Business School | ISCAC from 22 to 24 November 2023 in Coimbra, Portugal.
This third edition is held following the success of the two previous ones, one held in Badajoz and another in Madrid, and now expanding the circle to reach our beloved neighboring country, Portugal.
Although all the necessary information is available on the website www.agora-portugal.pt , including that of the ÁGORA NETWORK from which you can subsequently benefit throughout the rest of the year, allow us to remind you of some topics that will surely be important to you when deciding on your participation in this event:
The Ágora is conceived as a 4+361 space for meeting and international connection which integrates all educational levels, from “cradle to life-long learning”, both formal and non-formal and informal learning, and in a multidisciplinary way, promoting an improvement of the educational models in tune with the current approach of learning based on COMPETENCIES. It integrates the advantages of a congress, forum, and/or multi-meeting space…, but it goes further, going beyond “always doing the same thing to obtain the same results”, with proposals that lead, more than to innovation, to revolution through solutions.
It is not limited to the university environment, covering the levels prior to University and the professional world where, from graduates to employers, everyone today is interested in COMPETENCY TRAINING, the guiding thread of the Ágora project.
As examples, among many others, we can highlight the following advantages for everyone:
- Presenting research, work, experiences, ideas,… in the dedicated space, with the possibility of subsequent publication.
- Participating to find out what is being done elsewhere and how it is done, what you could do if you want to innovate across whole spectrum (education, leadership and employment) of the Ágora community.
- Possibility of forming a NODE in the Ágora Network, specifying what you can offer to society in the realms of Education, Leadership and Employment, and your interests. No limits.
- Participating in the Agora network generated by activating connections with other NODES of interest to promote synergies and joint projects, as well as participating in the social projects proposed by other nodes and the opportunities which they generate.
There are several ways to participate, from simple acendance to improve your knowledge of the topics covered and learn about the latest developments in the different ZonÁgoras spaces covered by the event, to the submission of both face-to-face or virtual papers.
The Organisation offers and promotes various ways of publicising the works and experiences presented, ranging from the ISBN PUBLICATION of the book of abstracts and additional publications, the Octahedron book (Q1 in education), to various MAGAZINES in which we seek to disseminate the work presented.

The Ágora is an international meeting and connection space, 4 + 361, which integrates educational/training levels before university, the university and the socio-work environment in which the candidate moves after finishing his studies, emerging as a space to integrate these three levels from which a logical coordination is expected, which facilitates the performance of competences in a global learning context based on: COMPETENCES
